Simulated Phishing Test

This was a training exercise. No actual harm was done to your account or data.

⚠ What Just Happened?

You clicked on a link or provided information in response to a simulated phishing email. In a real attack, this action could have compromised your credentials, installed malware, or exposed sensitive company data to threat actors.

✓ The Good News

This was a controlled security awareness exercise. No credentials were captured, and your account remains secure. The purpose of this training is to help you recognize and avoid real phishing attacks in the future.

Common Phishing Red Flags

Urgency or threats
"Act now or your account will be locked" pressures you to skip careful checking.
Mismatched sender address
The display name looks legitimate, but the actual email domain is slightly off or unrelated.
Suspicious links
Hover over links before clicking — the real URL often differs from the text shown.
Unexpected attachments
Unsolicited files, especially .exe, .zip, or macro-enabled documents, are a common malware vector.
Requests for credentials
Legitimate services rarely ask you to "verify" your password or MFA code by email.
Generic greetings & typos
"Dear User" instead of your name, plus spelling or grammar errors, can signal a scam.
